DESCRIPTION:Industrial automation projects often fail or get delayed not because of missing technology\, but because critical decisions are made too late during physical commissioning\, under time and cost pressure.\nUsing a real industrial automation project as an example\, the panel shows how Schaeffler\, together with MHP\, NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Wandelbots NOVA\, used simulation as a practical engineering tool to validate feasibility\, layout\, and physics before building the physical cell. Rather than discovering issues during on-site commissioning\, critical problems were identified and resolved virtually\, allowing the final setup to be approved with confidence. The talk demonstrates how a platform-based approach enables sim-to-real workflows in practice and how realistic robot behavior and physics simulation change decision-making in industrial robotics projects.\n\nhttps://www.hannovermesse.de/event/from-simulation-to-certainty-how-platforms-change-industrial-automation-decisions/pan/42356
